Joceline Lam, MSN, RN, FNP-C
Aesthetic Nurse Practitioner or Aesthetic Nurse Injector. Joceline has been at AFF for almost 2 yrs now. Working in the Med Spa profession for the same amount of time, although I worked in plastic surgery for almost 5 years prior to crossing over to Med Spa world at AFF.
She worked at Community Memorial Hospital (CMH) in Ventura for 11 years in critical care – ICU and CCU (coronary care unit) – at CMH for 7 yrs prior to becoming a NP. Currently, Joceline works in the perioperative department – specifically in pre-op and PACU (post anesthesia care unit aka recovery). Right now with the COVID pandemic, I think as a nurse in general, the main way we are all helping during this time is mainly through education. Regardless of what specialty or department a nurse works in, educating the public and practicing stringent universal precautions during this time is one of the best ways to help decrease the spread of COVID-19. My role as a pre-op/PACU nurse is very specific and specialized. Surgical patients are considered compromised, not only because of whatever medical issue they are experiencing or comorbidities that they may have, but because they have undergone surgery. All the nurses, doctors and staff in my dept have been working to minimize unnecessary surgeries/procedures during this time. But for those that must undergo surgery, we have been practicing strict precautions, cleaning everything thoroughly and protecting ourselves as well as the patient, all while performing our usual jobs. I have also been asked to help with COVID screenings, and in times of crisis (if and when it occurs), I have volunteered to float to any department where help is needed.
Nicole Sheppard, R.N.
I’ve been at AFF for a year but been injecting for almost 20 in aesthetics, worked in the ER for 25 yearsI love working at AFF because it is a way to help people feel better themselves. Setting up a treatment plan and watching the changes that occur are so exciting. Bringing back their natural beauty and watching their excitement is so fulfilling. I also love working with an amazing team!

Scott Welch, MMS PA-C, ABAAHP
Scott has been working with Wendy for two years after extensive training in areas such as injectables and laser procedures.
A passion for helping others led me down the path of medicine into a career that allows me to provide my patients with high quality cutting edge healthcare.
After many years in Hospitality along with numerous accolades in Exercise Science and Wellness, my hobbies turned into a life changing career assisting those looking for answers where they once thought were none. I bring a holistic approach, complimented with up to date proven medical literature in the fields of hormone optimization, peptide therapy protocols (developed from my fellowship by the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine), and diet modifications guidelines studied under the rigorous research by Dr. Valter Longo, in order to find comfortable and effective solutions for everyone.
I started with Wendy as a patient in 2009. My friends bought me a gift certificate for Botox for my 40th birthday. Wendy made my 11’s disappear and I was hooked. I’ve been her patient ever since. I left my corporate job as the Director of Operations & Customer Care in the Telecom industry when my son was in middle school. I have two kids, a daughter Tawni, 27, who is the owner of Lovely Locks N Lashes in Scottsdale AZ. My son Tanner, 20, is serving our country as a Combat Medic in the Army. When my son enlisted, I knew I had to find something to do with my spare time, so I didn’t go crazy in my empty nest.
I wanted to go back to work but not to the stressful corporate world. I wanted to want to go to work each day and enjoy my day around happy, positive people. At the same time Wendy was opening A Fresh Face and the rest is history, here I am, and I couldn’t be happier. I share my life with my boyfriend of 8 years, Ray who owns Full Throttle Kustomz in Fillmore. We enjoy our free time taking long cruises down the coast and in the canyons in my classic cars and on motorcycles along with camping in the desert ridding dirt bikes and a the side by side with our 3 dogs, Dodge, Turbo & Diesel.
I have a blessed life.
